An autumn cleanup activity at the Margalla Hills was organized on Saturday to raise awareness about cleanliness of the environment.
Under its corporate social responsibility, the Islamabad Serena Hotel organized the cleanup activity at Trail 5. The activity is organized every year, wherein more than 50 staff members of the hotel participate. The staff was divided into two teams to cover separate areas whole cleaned the entire trek.
“It is a great activity to promote a positive approach towards cleanliness. We are all responsible to keep our surroundings clean and pleasant, and we will always continue to do such endeavors,”General Manager Michel A Galopin told the participants on the occasion.He emphasized on the importance of activities aimed at protecting the environment and developing interest of the citizens to take care of pollution in all possible ways.
